19 Best Breakfasts in Margaret River

1. Willow Grill At Stay Margaret River

There are so many reasons why I love Willow Grill so let me try and cover them all. One of the main reasons is because it is located at Stay, Margaret River making it one of the few accommodation places in town with an on-site restaurant. So handy!

Most mornings a full buffet breakfast is served for only $25! This is the best-value buffet breakfast in Margaret River. In the event a buffet isn’t offered the breakfast menu has so many delicious options including my favourites‘ The Belgian Waffle’ and ‘The Willow Breakfast’.

The restaurant is comfortable and cozy with both indoor and outdoor seating making it the perfect year-round choice. Bonus, it’s open 7 days a week!

Some bookings at Stay Margaret River include breakfast in the price so be sure to check your booking details.

2. Margaret River Bakery

Fondly known as Margs Bakery. The original Margaret River Bakery is iconic. You’ve probably been here a time or two over the years but if you haven’t… you must. They are famous for offering some of the best eats Margaret River.

Eclectic and European in style it oozes charm and features a few Instagram worthy walls, corners and of course, breakfasts.

You can sit down here, order from the menu and slowly sip your coffee whilst absorbing the chatter and ambiance around you… or you can grab some of the best toasties or croissants around and hit the road.

Personally, we prefer life in the slow lane and will happily sit here passing the time. Ticking the box for a Margaret River Bakery Breakfast during your stay in Margs.

Bonus, these guys also bake cakes for any occasions you might have coming up! My favourite is the Gluten Free Coconut and Cacao Cake… drool.

This place holds a special spot in my heart. Blue Ginger Fine Foods is where I would go for breakfast quite often when I first moved to town. Why? Because it’s like a produce store, deli and cafe in one and has so many wonderful things to buy!

The cafe itself is calming and eclectic with indoor seating as well as tables on an enclosed verandah. Think nanna’s 50’s style coffee table and friendly doggo’s asleep at their owners feet.

Australia Travel Planning Guide

🚑Should I buy Australian travel insurance?

100% YES! — Australia has “free” healthcare but it’s only for citizens and permanent residents. Foreigners visiting need travel insurance in case anything happens on their visit. I like SafetyWing – their Nomad Insurance starts at just $1.50 USD a day!

🚗Should I rent a car in Australia?

Yes — Renting a car is a necessity in most of Australia! If you want to go on road trips or adventures outside of the major cities, and even if you’re staying in a major city, you’ll want to rent a car. If you are visiting Margaret River, it will be even more important that you hire a car, you’ll need it to be able to get around and see all the great attractions and wineries!

🏨What’s the best way to book my Australian accommodation?

My go-to for Australian hotels is Booking.com. Pretty much all registered accommodation use Booking.com (but not necessarily any of the other major booking platforms), and even most of the holiday homes and caravan parks use Booking.com too!

If you’re planning a trip to Australia where you will stay at multiple locations, it’s super handy to have all your accommodation listed in one place, and accommodation owners like Booking.com because it’s easy to contact the guests using the messaging platform if the guest has an international phone number.

I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit to Margaret River!
